Geezer won "Best Champion Dog" at the Canadian Nationals. This was a huge event for Dogue de Bordeaux fans, as the godfather of our breed, Professor Raymond Triquet, was in attendance. Professor Triquet saved the Dogue de Bordeaux from extinction back in the 1960's when there were only 5 DDB alive on the planet. It was wonderful to spend some time with Professor Triquet, and I am thrilled to have had him sign some of my Dogue de Bordeaux books, including "The Saga of the Dogue de Bordeaux", which he wrote. Professor Triquet is also responsible for developing the standard of the Dogue de Bordeaux, which we use today.
A special thanks to the CDDBC for hosting a terrific show at the Nationals. There were 84 Dogue de Bordeaux in attendance from all over North America. A lot of thought and effort went into hosting this event, and I thought it was a first rate show.

Geezer and I attended the RBCOSWO "Rare Breed Club of South Western Ontario's" show in Brampton, Ontario in October of 2006. Geezer was presented with his RBCOSWO Championship Certificate. He also won a Top Dog award for the year 2006.
Geezer had 5 Best in Breed wins at the Brampton Show. He also won Group 7 on Sunday morning, and went on to compete in Best in Show. During the weekend, he placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th in Group.
On Saturday morning at the Brampton show, Geezer won Best in Breed for the Canadian Molosser Association show. This was his 5th time showing with the CMA, and his 5th win. These five wins, with his five Excellent critiques, gives him his CMA Championship. There have only been two Dogue de Bordeaux who have ever received this title, so I am very proud for Geezer to have obtained it.
Geezer is now a 4 time Champion. He is a CFC Ch., CMA Ch., RBCOSWO Ch., and has an Int. Molosser Championship. Congratulations Geezer.
For the year of 2006, Geezer had 15 "Best in Breed" wins.
Geezer earned his CFC Championship, in St. Hyacinthe, Quebec for the "Canine Federation of Canada" Autumn Colors show. This was on September 9th and 10th, 2006. All of the judges are FCI and included written critiques. Geezer won his age class 4 times, won 4 Best of Winners, and 4 Best in Breed. He also placed 2nd in Group once, and 4th in Group twice. The dog that won Group, went on to win Best in Show. Geezer won Best in Breed in the Molosser Specialty, which now gives him 4 out of the 5 required 1st place wins/Excellent critiques for his MBA Championship. Geezer also won Best in Breed in the first ever show for the "Canadian Dogue de Bordeaux Club" or CDDBC. This was a Booster for one of the CFC shows. I am very pleased and honored to have won the first ever show for this club. The CDDBC will be a very important club in this country, for the uniting of breeders, and gaining registration and recognition for the Dogue de Bordeaux breed.
On August 12th, 2006, Geezer won Best in Breed at the "Canadian Molosser Association" show in Bradford, Ontario. This was a big win for us, as Geezer had recently turned of age to compete in Open Class, and go against the big boys. At this show, he went head to head against his own father. I was very proud to walk away with the win. Geezer now has 4 out of 5 wins/excellent critiques, required for his CMA Championship. *note- Geezer received his 5th win and finished this Ch. at the Rare Breed show, Oct. 7th, 2006*
On July 9th, 2006, Geezer won a Best in Breed at the "Rare Breed Club of South Western Ontario" RBCOSWO show, in Woodstock, Ontario. At this show, Geezer received a "Top Dog" award for placing 4th overall for the year 2005 in points, for Working Group puppies.

Gifted at guarding without aggression, the Dogue de Bordeaux, or French Mastiff, has a strong sense of devotion to their master. They have an expression of tenderness and sweetness that is irresistible.
My purpose is to educate about this wonderful breed of dog, while at the same time promoting "Geezer", my Multi-Champion male, and his results in the show ring. I would be happy to answer any questions about Geezer or the Dogue de Bordeaux breed, so please do not hesitate to contact me.
Warmest regards,
